who can forget Y2K? perhaps "millennials" don't remember the iconic moment when on 12-31-1999, the technology-time-wizards were absolutely unsure of HOW EXACTLY computer programs of 1900s were going to react to date+time change into 01-01-2000. Hype was ridic overkill. As retrowavers from another time (the actual 80s), it was a literal doomsday scenario. All computers crash, power grids of the🌎all fail, banks ledgers compromised, etc.. and then..AND THEN.. AND THEN?!?! NOTHING happened lol

Just realised that Katydid has a bit of a T1 vibe, cool. The breakdown 2mins into Feathers is magical. Overall the album is playful and has a gentle side that I'm really enjoying.
